•MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR •

Junio 14, 2021.
Carta del Arzobispo Most Rev. Salvatore Cordileone,
Fr. Erick Araúz, Pastor - (415) 663-9640.

Dear Parishioners of Sacred Heart Church and St. Mary Magdalene Mission:
Happy Easter! Christ is truly risen! Alleluia! The Easter message of joy echoes throughout the world proclaiming Jesus victory of light over darkness, grace over sin, and life over death! It is a message in which we built our lives and to which we anchor our own hope of victory with Him.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who helped decorate and prepare our churhc in preparation for Easter including those who helped during our Eucharistic Celebration.
Also, special blessings to those coming from different places to help the Parish, such as Novato, San Rafael, Lagunitas, Martinez, Vallejos, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Nicasio, Petaluma... In the spirit of faith and hope, I wish you and your families a most holy and blessed Easter!
Many Blessings,
Fr. Erick Araúz

Dear Parishioners,
I would like to give my deeply thanks to all those parishioners who assumed a year of pledge and to support the Parish in order to accomplish our 2022, AAA goal. I am sure that the Lord will return to you in abundance and many blessings for your great generosity.
The Church has always depended on the support and generosity of its members to educate our youth, reach out to youth and young adults, help feed the hungry, care for our elderly, social ministries, parish schools, and a variety of other ministries.
Our Anual Appeal (AAA) goal for 2023 is $ 12,299, so, please, think about how much could be your pledge or donation this year. When the time comes, we will give you a Brochure (in envelopes) during Mass or by mail. Also, you could go to the Parish Website: www.marinsacredheart.com, and give your donation on "Weshare" signing with total confidence. There your donation could be directed as a regular Sunday Collection supporting your Parish or directed to the 2023 Archdiocesan Annual Appeal (AAA).
Our gifts will directly impact the lives of those who need and depend on the new programs and services of the Archdiocese. This is an appeal to your generosity, and every dollar we raise in excess of our goal comes back to us.
Thanks again to you for all you do for Sacred Heart Parish and thank you in advance for your consideration of this request. Please join me in prayer for the success of the 2023 AAA everyone who needs and depends on it.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Fr. Erick E. Arauz E., Pastor.

Note: "Acknowledgement letters for donors who give $250 and above to the 2022 AAA (one-time or cumulative) will receive -of-Year tax letter no later than January 31, 2023."

June 14, 2021.
Letter from our Archbishop Most Rev. Salvatore Cordileone,
"As the state of California is now lifting most coronavirus restrictions, thanks to the decreasing rate of infections... As public health officials remind us, however, the pandemic is not yet completely over. We must continue to be vigilant and responsible in ensuring maximum health and safety of our parish communities.
The following modifications are outlined according to what is to be retained, what is to be dropped, what may be restored, and what is to be modified. Most significantly, it is now time to bring our people back to Mass. Therefore, the dispensation for the Sunday obligation will be rescinded on June 24, 2021. That is, dispensation for attending Sunday Mass will be dropped, and the Sunday Mass obligation restored.
It is important... that anyone who feels sick is dispensed from attending Mass by canon law itself;... so not to risk contagion that can cause others to become ill. Likewise, those who fear they may be seriously adversely affected by infection are also dispensed by canon law itself."
Note: By the entrance of the Church you can find a flyer with the new outlines according to what is to be modified in order to participate in Mass.
